Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Helping elementary kids with reading and writing.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Victimology

Where are you from?

Stockton, CA

Who is your role model, and why?

My mother. She sacrificed a lot for me and I can’t thank her enough for that. She showed me the path I have to take in order to be successful.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Basketball, Track

Did you play any other positions in football?

Also can play cornerback

At your position, what separates you from others? –

My length and ability to get off blocks. Also attacking the ball in the air.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Receivers alignment. Offensive line run and pass reads. Quarterback tendencies

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Marcus Tucker, Northern Michigan

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Dashon Goldson. Because of his ability to find the ball and make big time hits and plays in the air.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Losing my father at a young age. Had no male figure in my household to guide me into becoming a man. My step father then entered my life and helped me become the man I am today. Also along with my uncles.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Showering before the game makes me feel fresh and relaxed. Then listen to classical music to ease my mind.

What is your biggest strength?

Football IQ. Understanding the game and coachable.

Speed.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

Accountable. Will do whatever it takes to help the team.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Favorite player was Sean Taylor and favorite team growing up was the Washington Redskins.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

My father, Muhammad Ali and Jackie Robinson

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

A car for my mom. Then pay off her bills.
