Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?
I have a mentoring program at Dunn Middle School where I get the chance to help teens that’s at risk of failing or going to jail.
What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?
Biology

Charlotte, NC
Who is your role model, and why?
My grandfather is my role model because he showed me how to be a real man, also how to situate yourself and your family.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
I played basketball and ran track.
Did you play any other positions in football?
Wide Receiver
At your position, what separates you from others?
What separates me from others is the way that I prepare for the game and my IQ of the game.
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
I look for top route combinations for each down and the offenses tendencies.
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
Marquise Williams (UNC Tarheels)
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Desmond Trufant (Atlanta Falcons). We compare because of our ability to play lock down man to man, as well as zone.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
My grandfather passing away was the toughest obstacle. I only made it through by keeping faith in God and with the love/support of family. Football as well because he always wanted to see play college ball, so I owed him that.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Listen to music and walk 97 yards down the field in honor of my Grandma dying in ’97.
What is your biggest strength?
Man to Man coverage.
What is your biggest weakness?
Tackling
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
All I need is an opportunity to show what I’m made of. I will bring that tenacious mindset and will do whatever it takes to make myself/the team better.
Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?
Player- Sean Taylor. Team- Cowboys.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
My grandpa, my grandma and Sean Taylor
What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?
Anything that my Mama wants.
