Monachino has never been a defensive coordinator at the NFL level. He spent the last six seasons on Baltimore’s staff coaching players like Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs, who helped the Ravens win a Super Bowl ring after the 2012 season. Monachino was previously a defensive line coach with the Jaguars from 2006 to 2009.
