Former Calgary Stampeders wide out Eric Rogers is gaining interest from NFL teams

Former Calgary Stampeders wide out Eric Rogers was paid well today by the San Francisco 49ers

CFL star Eric Rogers was signed today by the San Francisco 49ers. The former Calgary Stampeder was given a lucrative contract according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.  Schefter reports it is the largest CFL deal since Cam Wake was signed by the Dolphins.

We all know how that one turned out. It will be interesting to see what Rogers can do in Chip Kelly’s offense.  According to Schefter, Rogers had 13 offers.

The #49ers are signing CFL star Eric Rogers to a 2-year deal with a $125K signing bonus, $75K in bonuses & $100K base salary guarantee.
