49ers give CFL wide out a lucrative contract; Biggest since Cam Wake’s contract in Miami
CFL star Eric Rogers was signed today by the San Francisco 49ers. The former Calgary Stampeder was given a lucrative contract according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Schefter reports it is the largest CFL deal since Cam Wake was signed by the Dolphins.
We all know how that one turned out. It will be interesting to see what Rogers can do in Chip Kelly’s offense. According to Schefter, Rogers had 13 offers.

Before picking SF, former Calgary WR Eric Rogers visited 16 teams, had 13 offers. He caught 87 passes for 1,448 yards and 10 TDs last year.
