Vikings are working out former Browns defensive tackle Phil Taylor
Vikings are in the hunt for the playoffs, and they are looking to add a big boy on their line. According to Ben Goessling of ESPN the Vikings are bringing in former Browns DT Phil Taylor for a tryout on Tuesday.
This is the first reportedly interest in Taylor since he worked out for the Ravens close to a month ago. Before that, Taylor met with the Steelers, but wasn’t signed to a contract.
Taylor, 27, was taken with the No. 21 overall pick by the Browns back in 2011, but did not pan out for the Browns. He is a big sloppy guy, that can clog the middle. These guys are usually signed by now, so this is interesting.
