Saints have signed former Browns starting guard Ryan Seymour

The New Orleans Saints promoted guard Ryan Seymour from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday and released cornerback Tony Carter.

The move could possibly signal that New Orleans needs depth on the offensive line, where both starting offensive tackles Terron Armstead and Zach Strief are listed as questionable with injuries.

Seymour was recently with the Cleveland Browns, and is a pretty solid veteran lineman.
