Rams have signed DE Doug Worthington

The St. Louis Rams placed defensive end Robert Quinn on season ending injured reserve. In a corresponding move the team signed Buffalo native and former Ohio State Buckeye defensive end Doug Worthington.

Worthington was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the seventh round, with the 242nd overall pick, of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at Ohio State University. He has also been a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Diego Chargers, St. Louis Rams and Washington Redskins.

Worthington was a five time Big Ten Champion at Ohio State University.
