NFL Draft Diamonds and our staff have been bringing our readers Prospect Interviews over the past 2 years and this year we mixed up the questions and added some fun questions for our readers. We have tons of NFL staff that read our interviews, and we actually received several of the questions from NFL scouts we speak too. This gives them a little bit more information regarding your character. We hope to bring you more than 300 interviews of NFL Draft Prospects this season. You will be able to track them all on the front page of our website in the banner.
What is your name?
Willie James Quinn III
What is your Height/Weight?
What is your position?
Where do you play college football?
What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?
Where are you from?
Who is your role model, and why?
Steve Smith, Antonio Brown, Darren Sproles, Tommy Shuler, Stefan Logan, John Brown, T.Y Hilton, Andrew Hawkins, Julian Edelman, and Tavon Austin. The reason why they are my role model is because they dominant at a high level and proved that height doesn’t matter at all.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Track, basketball, and baseball
Did you play any other positions in football?
At your position, what separates you from others?
I have a nose for the ball, whenever I see the ball in the air I feel like I have to come down with it no matter whether if it’s a low, high, or too far ball I gotta get it.
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
I look at the defenders tape, to see how he plays short opponents because I’m short myself. Then I see what he is good at the most, and then I find his weakness.
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
Week in and week out I was going against someone tough..
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Antonio Brown because he humble, not big at all, and he is doing whatever to be the best, and take care of his family.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
My biggest obstacle I had to overcome was when my house exploded while my brother, and two sisters where in there. Hearing what the doctor tell me I won’t be able to play football no more brought some tears to my eyes, but after a while I prayed a lot and was working hard in therapy and I knew I always wanted to be a NFL player so I always told myself I’m going to get to my dream.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I just listening to music and just think about how far I have come.
As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?
Just not getting the same look as the bigger schools.
What is your biggest strength?
Catching the ball
What is your biggest weakness?
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
I will NOT Let you down.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?
I would fund a little flag football game for the kids, and whoever wins is able to go shopping because that’s something I love to do.
