Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

The coolest thing I’ve done off the field would have to be going home to my 5 younger siblings and sharing my experiences overcoming adversity. Teaching them about adversity, it’s about how to overcome tough circumstances because difficult times are going to happen. Also, being able to Coach young Prospects at the UMaine football camp this summer, teaching techniques and aspects of the game to help better their skills. Passing along the Wisdom.

Food Science Nutrition

Where are you from?

Prince George’s County Maryland

Who is your role model, and why?

My Uncle Tre because he was raised a similar way I was and is very successful in life. He shows me and also motivates me to be successful and to compete in anything I do in life. He is a great father, brother, husband, and uncle a family member can have.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Basketball All-met Point guard  Soccer Baseball

Did you play any other positions in football?

Quarterback Running back Punt Returner and Punter in High School. Cornerback Nickelback and Punt Returner in College.

At your position, what separates you from others?

I’m a Student of the game I watch and study film all day. Also my Technique, quickness, passion for the game and playmaking skills.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I sort every pass cut up to the formation that the team runs the most that week. Watch for what concepts a team runs out of a certain formation, the WR splits and alignments. Also I look at the WR releases from press coverage, the highest percent formation ran by that team and the player that the quarterback likes to goes to in that formation.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Tyrann Mathiu Mix with Richard Sherman because of my technique fundamentals at cornerback mirroring Sherman. And playmaking, quickness and athleticism like Tyrann.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

My biggest obstacle in my life was moving away from my mother and siblings in order to go to high school then College to get where I’m at to be successful today.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Coming from a small school means you have work harder.

What is your biggest strength?

Covering technique, hips, feet, Tackling and intelligence for the game.

I know I can play this game and You will get full effort and hard work out of me. Your program can look forward to me being accountable as well as trusty worthy. I am still growing as a football player and want to help your organization win a championship and compete to get myself better as well as my teammates better everyday.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Uncle Tre, Jesus, and My Grandmother

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

I want to Save my money the best way I can, but I would probably buy my mom a house.
