NFL Draft Diamonds and our staff have been bringing our readers Prospect Interviews over the past 2 years and this year we mixed up the questions and added some fun questions for our readers. We have tons of NFL staff that read our interviews, and we actually received several of the questions from NFL scouts we speak too. This gives them a little bit more information regarding your character. We hope to bring you more than 300 interviews of NFL Draft Prospects this season. You will be able to track them all on the front page of our website in the banner.
What is your name?
What is your Height/Weight?
What is your position?
Where do you play college football?
Fayetteville State University
Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?
Every season and spring I got to spend time at local elementary schools. During this time I would interact with the kids. Sometimes we would play games, do class work or just talk. I also enjoyed working at Urban Ministries preparing food bags for the clients.
What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?
Where are you from?
Who is your role model, and why?
My dad because when I was growing up I was always told stories of how good my father was in basketball and just what an overall great athlete he was. Today people continue to talk about how well respected he is in him community.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Baseball, Basketball and Track
Did you play any other positions in football?
Kick-off returner and defensive back
At your position, what separates you from others?
I have the ability to make the hard catches.
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
I look at the DBs that I will be going against and watch how they react to certain moves. I look at how they play certain routes. I look at what kind of DBs will hit you.
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
In 2014, Danny Bunn, #9 – Winston Salem State University
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Antonio Brown, a smaller receiver that can play in the slot and the outside. He runs good routes, he is also good at catching the 50/50 balls.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
I have also been overlooked because of my size. I have always been small and sometimes people viewed that as unable to compete. This was very discouraging and sometimes I wanted to give up. But there were always people in my life that would encourage me to do whatever I wanted. Once I was given a chance people saw that I had skills. The way I overcame the obstacle of doubt by others in my abilities was always showing up and doing my best.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I try my best to prepare for the game throughout the week so when game day comes I can act normal and treat game day like a regular day that keeps my nerves down.
As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?
Never lose your confidence in your ability. You must be willing to put in the extra work.
What is your biggest strength?
Making big plays when my team needs a play.
What is your biggest weakness?
Sometime it takes me too long to recover from a bad play. I have to remind myself to move on.
You will be getting a player that is dying to be a champion and will do whatever it takes to get a ring. You will be getting a player that has had to work for everything and not scared to put the work in to get where I need to be. I want to be one of the best wide outs in the game and I’m ready to put the work in to get there. I am a man of good character and will not abuse my opportunity or bring disrespect to your program.
Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?
Never really had a favorite team but my favorite player growing up was Torry Holt
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
Grandma Ann, Uncle Chucky, and my Uncle Step they all have passed away.
With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?
I will give God his 10%, pay off my parents’ bills and treat my Auntie Viki to whatever she wants.

- Backstreet Boys or One Direction?
- Lifetime Channel or HGTV?
- Waffles or Pancakes?
