You will be able to track them all on the front page of our website in the banner.

What is your name?

Billy Munker

What is your Height/Weight?

6’4 305

What is your position?

Center, Guard, Tackle

Where do you play college football?

Tusculum College

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

The captains of the team went as a group to local elementary schools and read books to the kids. It was great to reach out to the youth of the community and show them the importance of reading and staying in school.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Auditing and intermediate accounting, as an accounting major basically any class in the major is hard.

Where are you from?

West Palm Beach, Florida

Who is your role model, and why?

My father and mother, they both worked their hardest to give my sister and I a great life and to keep us on the right tracks.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Basketball

Did you play any other positions in football?

All positions on the offensive line.

At your position, what separates you from others?

My athleticism and quick feet. I can pass block a speed rusher at tackle while also be able to take on a bull rush at center because I can move my feet extremely well due to my athleticism.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I first look at my opponents for the game. What’s their favorite move, are they speed rushers, bull rushers, quick hands, or just try to be physical. Then I see what their stances and tendencies show during twists or stunts.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Mam Nyang a DT from Mars hill when I was a freshman.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Nick Mangold, center for the Jets. He controls the offensive line and knows what everyone is doing on every play while still doing his job.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Transferring from a FCS school and getting adjusted to playing at the college level.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I’ll walk onto the field and take a few pass sets and going through my run steps. Saying good luck to the rest of the line and then praying.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Getting attention from scouts is a huge obstacle as a small school player. There are so many college football players out there that teams can choose from.

Billy MunkerWhat is your biggest strength?

My versatility is my biggest strength. I’ve started at Center, guard, and tackle in my college career and played all five positions on the line in one game due to injuries.  I’m also smart and can read the defense, tell you what’s the front while also being able to tell you what everyone’s blocking assignment on the play is.

What is your biggest weakness?

My weight room numbers are not as high as I would like them to be but my play on the field and athleticism makes up for it.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I’m a hardworking, team oriented player who will be an asset for your team and will work to be a better player everyday. I will be a leader on and off the field and will play any position you need me to play.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

New York Jets, Nick Mangold

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Jesus, Joe Namath, and one of my grand parents.

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

Pay off my parents bills, help fix up their car, and a house.
