Aaron DaShawn Brown

What is your Height/Weight? 

6’0″ 220

What is your position? 


Where do you play college football? 

THE Charleston Southern University!

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

For a while I mentored some of  the kids at a local high school. It was an awesome experience being able to help mold young lives.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

The hardest class that I’ve taken in college has to be biochemistry. 

Where are you from? 

I’m from Carrollton, Georgia

Who is your role model, and why? 

My Father is my role model because no matter what had to be done, he always got the job done. He showed me what it means to sacrifice what you want for the the people you love.

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

Along with football, I also ran track all my life until I signed to Charleston Southern.

Did you play any other positions in football?

I can play inside and outside linebacker and a linebacker-saftey hybrid.

At your position, what separates you from others? 

I believe my speed and elusiveness mixed with my football savvy separate me from other linebackers.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for relationships between down and distance and play calls. I look for body language indicators. I look for favorite plays.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

Derrick Henry from Alabama

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

Wesley Woodyard because I feel like we play with the same intensity.  

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

People have really looked down on me all my life. I just used the strength I got from my family to help me through it to become my person that I am today.

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

As far as pre-game rituals, I just listen to music, play games on my phone, and pray.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

What is your biggest strength? 

I feel that my biggest strengths are athleticism, intelligence, and my hard-work mentality.

What is your biggest weakness? 

I feel that my greatest weakness is that if all things stay constant I sometimes get complacent.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I would say that I’m an extremely hard worker and that if I were to be given a chance I know that I would make the team, because I have a chip on my shoulder and an angel in my corner that won’t let me be beaten or out-worked!

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

My favorite player was Tom Brady and my Favorite team was the Patriots.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Tom Brady, Martin Luther King, and Ray Lewis 

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

I’m gonna pay off student loans and some bills for my Parents!
