Dolphins sign veteran guard Shelley Smith; Place two linebackers on the injured reserve
Today the Miami Dolphins were busy trying to fill holes. The team signed veteran guard Shelley Smith, the 28 year old former sixth round pick of the Texans will be looked at for depth on the depleted offensive line.
In a corresponding move the the Dolphins placed linebackers Koa Misi and Chris McCain on injured reserve ending their season. Misi and McCain are two very solid players for the Dolphins. With just two games left, the Dolphins are likely playing for a better pick anyway.
The Miami Dolphins also signed LB James-Michael Johnson and OL Jacques McClendon to contracts on Tuesday
