The San Diego Chargers were thin at the wide receiver position but they are willing to be a little thinner. According to the Chargers team site, the team has released Vincent Brown again.
Brown was signed as a stopgap at wide receiver, but only made it three games. He was only active in one game though. Against the Chiefs, he caught one pass, a 22-yarder that converted a fourth down in the final minute of regulation.
The Chargers drafted Brown in the 2011 third round out of San Diego State. He showed promise as a playmaker until a fractured ankle in the 2012 preseason.
