Buffalo Bills are expected to place Robert Woods on the I/R with a groin injury

Buffalo Bills place wide out Robert Woods on season ending I/R

The Buffalo Bills could call up another rookie this week. Last week the team called up Nick O’Leary who caught a 37 yard pass yesterday. Today with another Bills player injured, I would not be surprised to see the Bills call up Dezmin Lewis, the former Central Arkansas wide out that is sitting patiently on the injured reserve.

According to Rand Getlin of NFL Media, the Buffalo Bills are placing WR Robert Woods on season-ending injured reserve with a groin injury.

Yesterday, reports said that Woods’ groin injury was “severe,” so this news shouldn’t come as a big surprise, especially considering where we are in the NFL season.
