Rams promote Supplemental Pick Isaiah Battle; Lose two O-Lineman for the year with injury
Rams HC Jeff Fisher announced that they’re promoting supplemental draft pick OT Isaiah Battle to their active roster on Monday, per Nick Wagoner.
This comes after the news that OT Darrell Williams and G Jamon Brown are both out for the season with injuries.
The St. Louis Rams, drafted Battle in the 5th round of the 2015 Supplemental Draft. He played for the Clemson Tigers in college.
Battle is one of the team’s most athletic offensive linemen. He had 32 knockdowns in 1,336 snaps over 27 games (15 starts) in his career at Clemson. He also played a significant role in each of Clemson’s wins over top-25 teams in bowl games in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
