What is your Height/Weight? 

6ft 2 inches

What is your position? 

Defensive End

Where do you play college football? 

Stony Brook University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

Helped the disabled surf at long beach, and visited fans at the hospital that had a stroke

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Hardest class I had to take was Healthcare Issues

Where are you from? 

Valley Stream, NY

Who is your role model, and why? 

My Father, he will do anything to make sure the family is living well, no man that I know of has out worked him and still has time to be a great Father.

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

Yes, I ran track and played soccer

Did you play any other positions in football? 

No

Vic Ochi 1At your position, what separates you from others? 

What separates me is my speed off the ball, and my long arms that helps me create separation to control the offensive lineman

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

When I watch film, I check for splits between the offensive line and the tight ends as well, I also look for the running backs depth and width to give me a run/pass indicator, and also to see what type of run I’ll be expecting. I also watch the way the offensive tackle pass sets his opponents to find out what he is weak

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

Cameron Wake, his explosion off the ball, the way he uses his hands to push/pull the offensive line and his motor

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

Learning to understand my Nigerian culture, while living in America. I overcame that by living in Nigeria for a few years and seeing the difference in opportunity from America to Nigeria

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

Listen to music, and motivational speakers online

What is your biggest strength? 

My biggest strength is my will to compete and my work ethic

What is your biggest weakness? 

My weakness is the fear of working so hard and coming up short

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I am a team player that works hard on and off the field to help my team win. In addition to my strong leadership skills, I have exceptional pass rushing skills. In today’s NFL having a skilled pass rusher is invaluable.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

My favorite team growing up is the New York Giants

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Michael Jordan, Martin Luther King Jr, Mark Cuban

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

I have a lot of work to do before I make an NFL roster. However, I will invest a good portion of my money for my retirement and to put my family in a good position when football is over. I would live a modest but comfortable life.
