NFL Draft Diamonds and our staff have been bringing our readers Prospect Interviews over the past 2 years and this year we mixed up the questions and added some fun questions for our readers. We have tons of NFL staff that read our interviews, and we actually received several of the questions from NFL scouts we speak too. Reggie Thomas

What is your Height/Weight? 

5’11” 186lbs

What is your position? 

Cornerback

Where do you play college football? 

Furman University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

One of my closest friends Kelvin Deveaux and I did a youth football camp this past summer in our hometown. 

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Exercise Physiology 

Where are you from? 

I was born in Palatka, Florida but grew up in Abbeville, SC

Who is your role model, and why? 

My Mom. She is someone I admire for everything she has done for my siblings and I. She’s a very resilient woman and has helped motivate me on and off the field.  

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

Basketball and Track

Did you play any other positions in football? 

Wide Receiver, Safety, Running Back

At your position, what separates you from others? 

I believe I have all the tools you need to be a great corner. Speed, Agility, and Knowledge

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

The whole scheme of  things. I try my best to pick up on small things that may not be as noticeable the first time watching. Also I pay close attention to Wide Receiver tendencies and how they run their routes. 

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

Odell Beckham Jr. 

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?  

Josh Norman. We’re about the same size and have a similar style of play. We can be a finesse or aggressive corner

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

I wouldn’t say it’s an obstacle, more of a blessing, but something that really changed my life was the birth of my daughter. She opened my eyes to a lot more and gave me something else to play for.   

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

Other than listen to music, I always say a prayer before I step on the field

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Just proving to everyone I can play with the best of them 

What is your biggest strength? 

Great Speed and Agility and I have a lot of on the field experience

What is your biggest weakness? 

I can improve my tackling

Reggie ThomasIf I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I’m a versatile corner. I can play press man, off man, or zone. Whatever I can do to help contribute to the team I will do, including Special Teams.  

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

LaDainian Tomlinson, San Diego Chargers

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Jesus, Dwyane Wade, and My Daughter 

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

Whatever my daughter tell me to buy for her
