Bills have placed wide receiver Percy Harvin on the injured reserve; Bills activate Leodis McKelvin
The Buffalo Bills announced Saturday that they’ve placed WR Percy Harvin on season-ending injured reserve with a knee injury. Yesterday, Bills GM Doug Whaley told Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News that was a possibility.
The Bills can void the final two years of Harvin’s contract, meaning his days in Buffalo are likely finished. Harvin will only be 28 when the 2016 season begins, but he is a declining playmaker with chronic injury concerns.
Bills activated DB Leodis McKelvin off the non-football injury list. McKelvin will take Percy Harvin’s roster spot after the receiver was placed on season-ending injured reserve Saturday.
