Ravens promoted wide receiver Jeremy Ross; Cut DT Christo Bilukidi
The Baltimore Ravens elected to activate wide receiver Jeremy Ross from their practice squad over Jeremy Butler. This move is very shocking to us, because Butler is a way better wide out. Ross is a return man, which is understandable since the team lost Michael Campanaro to an injury.
In a corresponding move the Baltimore Ravens waived DT Christo Bilukidi to make room for him, according to Jeff Zrebiec.
Ross, 27, originally signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of California back in 2011. He played briefly for the Colts before joining the Packers in October of 2012. The Lions would later sign him to a contract and give him an opportunity to their kick returner where Ross showed some ability.
