Miami Dolphins could fire Joe Philibin this weekend if he loses to the Jets in London
Joe Philbin understood his job was on the line this year when he spoke to media to start the year, and now let’s see if he can fire up his team when they play in London, because if he doesn’t he may be out the door.
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that if the Jets blow out the Dolphins on Sunday in London, Philbin’s job will be in jeopardy during the bye week, which starts Monday.
An NFL team firing its coach during a Week Five bye after a Week Four loss in London would not be unprecedented, since that is exactly what the Raiders did last year, when they fired Dennis Allen after a loss to the Dolphins in London.
Philbin better fire his team up this week because if he cannot get a win against the division rival Jets, his year looks about over……
