Jim Schwartz turned down the Dolphins DC position
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Dolphins “touched base” with former Lions HC Jim Schwartz about their defensive coordinator position. But Schwartz elected to remain where he is, according to Rapoport.
Miami is still in the process of deciding what they’re going to do with current defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle,who has come under plenty of criticism this season for the underwhelming play of his defensive unit.
If they were looking to replace Coyle with Schwartz that tells me his days are numbered. How can you have a sucky defense with Ndamukong Suh and the guys around him….WOW!!
