Cowboys are confident that one of their running backs will step up, but it will not be Lance Dunbar

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Cowboys are fear RB Lance Dunbar tore both his left ACL and MCL during Sunday night’s game. Dunbar is scheduled to undergo an MRI at some point today to determine the severity of the injury.

Dunbar twisted his knee awkwardly, and he threw the ball in the air after he injured his knee.

In three games entering Sunday, Dunbar had two carries for 13 yards. Darren McFadden and Joseph Randle are the other backs on the Dallas depth chart.
