This week football kicks off in a little more than 48 hours, and the Pittsburgh Steelers will try to shut down the Super Bowl Champions.  To shut down the Patriots the Steelers will have to find a way to slow down Rob Gronkowski.  Two players feel the way to shut him down is put your hands on him and jam him at the line.

“You just have to jam him up a little bit, mess with his timing,” said Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier, per ESPN.com’s Jeremy Fowler. “If you mess up their timing, they are really time-oriented. You have to mess up their timing and get in his face with pressure, then I feel we can slow him down a little bit.”

Safety Mike Mitchell acknowledged that Gronkowski is the NFL’s finest tight end, but argued: “He has success when people don’t put their hands on him.”
