Saints are working out veteran kickers Nick Novak and Caleb Sturgis
The New Orleans Saints are hosting in veteran kickers Nick Novak and Caleb Sturgis today. The days of Zach Hocker may be numbered.
Sturgis, 26, spent the past two years with the Miami Dolphins, making 55 of 71 field-goal attempts (77.5 percent). Sturgis made both of his field-goal attempts in the preseason, but the Dolphins elected to go with undrafted rookie Andrew Franks instead.
Novak lost his starting job to undrafted free agent Josh Lambo.
