Redskins sign DE Houston Bates to 53 man roster; Release Frank Kearse
According to Adam Caplan, the Redskins will promote OLB Houston Bates from their practice squad on Saturday.

Bates, 24, is an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Tech. He was apart of the Redskins’ roster cuts this offseason, but was added back to the practice squad.
