NFL League Leaders looks normal on offense, but strange on defense
When you look at the individual statistics leaders of the NFL the offensive side of the ball looks normal. I mean Tom Brady of the Patriots is leading the NFL with 1000 plus yards passing after three games. Adrian Peterson is the NFL leading rusher with 291 yards, and Julio Jones of the Falcons is leading all receivers with 440 yards.
The league leaders on defense on the other hand are a little different. Paul Poz is leading the league in tackles which is normal, but Jacquies Smith is the sack leader right now with 4? The Buccaneers defensive end who was cut by the Buffalo Bills has been a breath of fresh air for Lovie Smith’s defense. The interceptions leaders are both Buffalo Bills. Both Preston Brown and rookie Ronald Darby are leading the list with 2 interceptions.
This year has been a strange year, but we need the pass rushers to step up especially if you took J.J. Watt as your IDP player in Fantasy Football…
