Eagles place Andrew Gardner on I/R; Team signs Julian Vandervelde
Today the Philadelphia Eagles placed offensive lineman Andrew Gardner on the injured reserve. The team signed Julian Vandervelde in a corresponding move.
Gardner injured his foot in the Week 3 win over the Jets and was spotted in a walking boot following the game. Gardner had played well through three weeks after easily beating out Matt Tobin in camp. Tobin will now take over as the starter. The Eagles already look bad on the offensive line and now they could look even worse.
