Eagles have stopped negotiating with quarterback Sam Bradford
ESPN’s Ed Werder reports that the Philadelphia Eagles are no loner engaged with QB Sam Bradford‘s representatives in an attempt to negotiate a short-term contract extension.
According to Werder, Sam Bradford’s good play in the preseason has complicated things. Bradford’s camp probably feels they can land more money by playing out the deal. This sounds like a game of poker for the Bradford camp.
Previous reports had said that the Eagles were hoping to sign him to a short-term extension that would give them control of their quarterback beyond this season.
