Buccaneers are hosting veteran center Joe Hawley today
Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports that the Buccaneers are hosting former Falcons C Joe Hawley on Wednesday. Hawley was the starting center for the Falcons when Buccaneers offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter was the OC in Atlanta.
I am not sure the Buccaneers would sign Hawley, since they recently gave Evan Dietrich-Smith a long term deal.
Hawley, 26, was taken in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Falcons. Atlanta wound up signing him to a two-year, $6 million contract that included $3 million guaranteed back in March of 2014.
