Bears worked out several defensive lineman and a former Raiders running back
Chicago Bears defensive tackle Will Sutton’s expected to miss a short period of time following a left biceps injury in Sunday’s loss at Seattle, the Chicago Bears brought in four linemen for a tryout on Tuesday.
According to Brad Biggs, veterans DeAngelo Tyson, Cliff Matthews, D’Anthony Smith and Greg Scruggs were worked out. The Bears also put running back George Atkinson III, a former Notre Dame player, through a workout.
None of the defensive linemen were signed and a roster move has not been made with Sutton, and that likely means his injury isn’t long-term.
