Vikings lose another OT for the season; DT injured as well
Coach Mike Zimmer said Wednesday that defensive tackle Shamar Stephen had surgery on his knee and offensive tackle Carter Bykowski on his shoulder.
Bykowski, an Eden Prairie native, is out for the season following the procedure Tuesday to prepare a torn pectoral muscle.
Stephen had his knee scoped, but Zimmer said he will be back for the Sept. 14 regular-season opener at San Francisco.
