Seahawks release Safety Robert Smith two days after claiming him; Re-sign Ty Zimmerman
The Seattle Seahawks wound up waiving S Robert Smith on Sunday with a failed physical designation just a few days after claiming him off of waivers from the Colts.
Smith was an undrafted free agent out of Clemson. During his four years at Clemson, Smith recorded 162 tackles, six tackles for a loss, four interceptions, seven pass defenses and a forced fumble.
