Retired Niners OT Anthony Davis plans on returning next season
Former 49ers OT Anthony Davis reiterated that he intends to return to the team for the 2016 season while answering questions on Twitter.
“According to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com, 49ers tackle Anthony Davis replied “Yes that’s the Plan,” when asked on Twitter if he intended to return next year.
Davis said when he announced his surprise retirement in June that he hoped to return “in a year or so,” after giving his body and brain a break.”
