Redskins GM says “He feels comfortable with Junior Galette”

Junior Gallette suffered a pectoral injury which could sideline him for a while
Junior Galette is a beast, but he has to keep his nose clean

The Washington Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan did tons of research on Junior Galette. This is the second time this year a team has said they felt comfortable with a player openly. The Bears did the same with Ray McDonald and it back-fired in their faces.  Hopefully that is not the case with Galette.

In January, Galette was arrested on domestic violence and simple battery charges, but the charges were eventually dropped. On the injury front, he suffered a torn pectoral muscle during the off-season. Doctors were unsure whether or not Galette required surgery.

“From the get-go I was a little bit nervous about, ‘OK, geez, there’s some things out there,'”McCloughan told Redskins.com, via CSN Washington. “But after we looked into everything — even with the league office, talking to them and doing all that — but like I said a couple of things are still pending but we felt fine with him as a person.”
