Ravens wide out Steve Smith is calling it a career after this season

Steve Smith the former Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens wide out just stated on NFL Network that this is his final season.  The All-Pro is calling it a career after the season, which will leave the Ravens super thin at the wide receiver position.

BREAKING: Ravens WR Steve Smith announces that this season will be his last. He will retire after the 2015 season.

“If it’s the end, I feel like it’s the best place for it to end,” Smith said.

Smith joined the Ravens last year after playing 13 seasons with the Carolina Panthers.The five-time Pro Bowler has racked up 13,262 career receiving yards and 73 career touchdowns.
