Ravens strong safety Matt Elam may have torn his bicep
According to the Baltimore Sun, Ravens strong safety Matt Elam may have torn his biceps and is undergoing an MRI today to determine the severity of his injury.
It’s feared that the injury could be season-ending. A complete tear where surgery is required could take four to six months of recovery time whereas a partial tear typically heals in three to six weeks.
This is not good for the former University of Florida safety, who was drafted fairly early by the Ravens. Elam’s career has been crushed by injuries.
