White, a 5-foot-10, 197-pound first-year player out of Auburn, was originally signed by the Packers as a non-drafted free agent on May 12, 2014, but was released on Aug. 30, 2014. He played in 13 games with two starts as a senior in 2013 and recorded 49 tackles (31 solo), an interception, six passes defensed, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble. White appeared in nine contests as a junior and posted 11 tackles (seven solo). He also served as the Tigers’ holder for much of his career. White will wear No. 31 for the Packers.
