Lions place DT Haloti Ngata on NFI List
Today the Detroit Lions placed veteran defensive tackle Haloti Ngata on the active/non-football injury (NFI) list. Ngata can be activated and re-join his new Lions teammates in practice at any time during training camp.

The #Lions start DT Haloti Ngata on the active/NFI list with a minor hamstring injury.
The team didn’t disclose a reason why Ngata isn’t ready to practice, but it’s certainly possible Ngata could be on the field by the end of the week.
