Jets waive WR Arthur Williams; Free up spot for Matt Flynn
The New York Jets announced the signing of QB Matt Flynn and the release of WR Arthur Williams on Wednesday.
The Jets really wanted to sign veteran quarterback Rex Grossman but he had interest from the Atlanta Falcons. So the team settled for second-best.
