Jets place Antonio Allen on I/R after clearing waivers
The New York Jets officially placed DB Antonio Allen on season-ending injured reserve after he cleared on waivers on Saturday. Allen, unfortunately, suffered a season-ending Achilles injury.
This is huge news for the Jets. Allen is a very solid player that could have been claimed by any team via the waiver wire process.
