Is Adrian Peterson a first ballot Hall of Famer? He thinks so….

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson says he is a Hall of Famer

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson says he is a Hall of Famer

Adrian Peterson is a very solid running back, and while he missed all of last year for punishing his child, Peterson is ready to move forward. Peterson and the Vikings take on the Steelers in the Hall of Fame Game tonight in the first preseason game of the year, and Peterson feels like he already belongs in Canton, Ohio.

“I’m going to be blunt and honest with you. I feel like if I didn’t play another snap in my life, I got the opportunity to go in the Hall of Fame right now,” Peterson told the Star Tribune.

Peterson wants to be remembered as the best player ever, not just the best running back.

“Not just the greatest running back,” he points out. “The greatest player.”
