Former 49ers DL Ray McDonald faces a rape charge of an intoxicated person
A Santa Clara County grand jury indicted former San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Ray McDonald on one count of rape of an intoxicated person.

The announcement came Wednesday, with the indictment stemming from an incident Dec. 15 at McDonald’s home.
McDonald was released by the 49ers and later signed by the Bears. The Bears also released him after he violated a restraining order.
