Matt Lombardo reports that the Eagles have begun trimming their roster down to 75 players with the release of OL Mike Coccia, WR Mike Johnson, DL Alfy Hill, DT Jeremy Towns, and C Jared Wheeler.
The team began making cuts including Jeremy Towns the former Samford defensive tackle who was claimed a few days ago from the Buffalo Bills. The team also cut Delaware wide receiver Mike Johnson, and New Hampshire offensive lineman Mike Coccia.
