Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald is reporting that the Miami Dolphins have released back up center JD Walton. 
@ArmandoSalguero: Dolphins today have released backup center J.D. Walton, per league source.
Walton, 28, was one of the Dolphins key free agent pick ups but it looks like that didnt work well.
