Denver Broncos have traded offensive tackle Chris Clark to the Texans
Today has been a handful, many great players have been getting cut and traded. Today the Denver Broncos traded an offensive tackle to the Houston Texans in return for a seventh round pick.
Jeff Legwold of ESPN reports that the Broncos have agreed to trade OT Chris Clark to the Texans in return for a 2016 seventh-round pick.
• A sixth-year offensive tackle who appeared in 69 games (27 starts) with Denver during the last five seasons (2010-14) after two years competing on Minnesota’s practice squad.
• Started 14 regular-season games and three playoff contests at left tackle in place of injured All- Pro Ryan Clady in 2013 as part of an offensive line that allowed the fewest sacks (20) in the NFL.
• Spent the 2008 and ‘09 seasons on the Vikings’ practice squad after competing in Tampa Bay’s training camp as a rookie in ‘08.
• Started every game at left tackle during his final three seasons at the University of Southern Mississippi, earning All-Conference USA recognition following his senior year.
