Jerel Worthy was released today by the Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs announced that they’ve placed DL Jerel Worthy on waivers Monday.

The #Chiefs have waived Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan State.

Worthy, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Packers back in 2012. The Packers traded him to the Patriots for a conditional draft pick, but he was released.
