Bears are expected to workout former Texas WR John Harris; Packers also interested
John Harris the former Texas Longhorn wode out could have a new home soon. Harris was released by the Eagles this week.
Harris was a five year starter at Texas. He played in 36 games with 13 starts.
After 9 total receptions and 190 receiving yards the previous three seasons, Harris exploded for 68 recpetions and 1,051 yards as a senior.
We are learning he will work out for the Bears on Thursday and if not signed he could be headed to the Packers. Both teams are very interested in his services.
