49ers sign former CFL linebacker Shawn Lemon
The San Francisco 49ers have signed former CFL standout Shawn Lemon. 
@MaioccoCSN: OLB Shawn Lemon worked out for 49ers and will sign with the 49ers. He played in CFL and with the AFL.
The Stampeders released Lemon from his contract in order to allow him to pursue a career in the NFL back in January. It was just a few weeks later that the Steelers signed him to a future/reserve contract.
