Winston Salem State football player saved a 13 year old kid from a burning car after two died

Winston Salem State freshman running back Kenneth Sharpe Jr. Is a hero tonight. Sharpe was able to pull a 13 year old child from a burning car after two people were killed in the crash. 


It happened at about 9:30 p.m. Friday in after one vehicle crossed the center line and hit another, causing the first car to roll over and catch fire.

The drivers of both vehicles died, one at the scene and the other at the hospital, according to officials.
